While both techniques are gentle, CST is often more subtle, while CO may involve more direct manipulation of the body. Additionally, CST may be practiced by a wider range of healthcare professionals, including massage therapists and other bodyworkers, while CO is typically practiced by osteopaths.
Both methods are used to address similar issues such as chronic pain, headaches, anxiety, and stress-related disorders, with Cranial Osteopathy more commonly used for "structural issues" such as those caused by dentistry work or physical trauma.
